Our cooperation with schools is particularly important to us, because we want to inspire and support young people in the fascinating world of physics. To this end, we offer a variety of special programs. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to an exciting and successful collaboration!

School sponsorships

Our school sponsorships are a wonderful opportunity for schools to enter into a close partnership with our department. We support teachers and students with extensive resources and expertise, organize exciting project days and help with the implementation of experiments. Together, we want to awaken and deepen interest in physics.

School physics lab


The for Physics and the are a service for schools of all kinds from the Frankfurt region and beyond. Here, school classes can carry out independent experiments based on physics lessons.

In our school laboratories, young researchers can get hands-on and experience the exciting world of physics up close. Under expert guidance, the pupils carry out exciting experiments that give them an insight into various physical phenomena. Our laboratories offer an ideal complement to lessons and promote a practical understanding of the theoretical content.


School studies

For particularly talented pupils, we offer the opportunity to take part in a pupil study program while still at school. This gives them the chance to take part in regular university courses and collect ECTS points. In this way, we not only promote their talents, but also optimally prepare them for later studies. The participants gain a first insight into everyday university life and can develop their skills in an academic environment

Internship for pupils in physics

Are you interested in physics and considering whether studying this subject could be the right path for you? Then we would like to invite you to complete a student internship with us and gain an initial insight into our department.

Internship with a focus on climate physics.

51猎奇 Frankfurt is the only university in Germany to offer the opportunity to study physics with a focus on climate physics. In cooperation with the Institute for Atmosphere and Environment, we offer 8 internships per semester in which you can get to know current issues in atmospheric sciences in theory and experiment.

For your application, we require a complete application portfolio in PDF format. This should include a meaningful cover letter stating the desired internship period, a current CV in tabular form and the last two school reports.
