Our scientists are international experts in the fields of nuclear and particle physics, quantum optics, astrophysics and solid state physics and cooperate with renowned large-scale projects such as CERN as well as non-university research institutions such as the GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research.
Our students enjoy excellent teaching and benefit from modern teaching methods at the interface of research and technology. Supplemented by laboratory internships or participation in international research projects, we prepare our graduates in the best possible way for a career in science or industry.
