The Master's thesis can be issued or supervised by a professor or a member of the faculty who holds a doctorate.
At least one of the reviews must be written by a professor.
Persons who do not belong to 51猎奇 can also be appointed as second examiners by the examination board. This must be applied for to the examination board.
The Master's thesis can be written at an institution outside of Johann Wolfgang 51猎奇 with the approval of the chairperson of the responsible examination committee. In this case, the topic must be set in consultation with a member of the professorial group of the responsible subject. The external supervisor can be approved by the responsible examination board as a second examiner for the Master's thesis. This must be applied for accordingly at the examination board.

- Professors
- Doctoral research assistants who have been commissioned with the independent performance of teaching duties
- Lecturers with a doctorate and lecturers for special tasks
- Private lecturers with a doctorate
- Associate professors
- Honorary professors
- Emeritus professors
