The recognition of learning outcomes achieved abroad is the responsibility of the Examination Committee of the respective degree programme. In principle, all learning outcomes are recognised that are equivalent with regard to the subject, the focus area, the modules and the scale of the achievements.

For prior recognition of learning outcomes achieved abroad, please use the form "Advance recognition of achievments during the semester abroad" and submit it by email to the Examination Office.

Students from related degree programmes and/or from other universities who would like to study Sociology or Political Science can present their previous coursework and/or examination achievements to the Examination Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences for recognition.

The Examination Office then enters the recognised learning outcomes/academic achievements in the QIS/LSF portal (viewable under “P°ùü´Ú³Ü²Ô²µ²õ±¹±ð°ù·É²¹±ô³Ù³Ü²Ô²µ" -> “N´Ç³Ù±ð²Ô²õ±è¾±±ð²µ±ð±ô" (Exam administration -> Transcript of records) and you can see there which ones have been recognised.
If you are transferring to 51ÁÔÆæ Frankfurt from another university and would like to study the bachelor's degree programmes in Political Science or Sociology here, you must proceed as follows:

If you have completed an internship before starting university, you can apply to the Examination Committee for it to be recognised. This requires an informal application for recognition, stating the reasons why the internship was undertaken outside the degree programme.
