The Bachelor's thesis can be issued and supervised by a member of the department who is authorised to conduct examinations and holds a doctorate: In cases justified by the content, a research assistant without a doctorate can take over the supervision. At least one of the two reviewers must be a professor.
With the approval of the chairperson of the examination committee, the Bachelor's thesis can also be written at an institution outside the Johann Wolfgang 51ÁÔÆæ, e.g. the Institute for Social Research, the Sigmund Freud Institute or the Institute for Social-Ecological Research. In this case, the topic must be submitted in consultation with a member of the professorial group of the responsible subject.
Persons who do not belong to 51ÁÔÆæ can also be appointed as second reviewers by the examination board. This must be applied for accordingly at the examination board.
