The MEAS programme is truly international 鈥� in terms of subject matter, student body and the East Asia-based study and work options that you can choose to explore.

Although IZO and MEAS do not have their own exchange programmes for students, you may be eligible to apply to some of the university-level and faculty/department-level exchange programmes. Here are some of the programmes that may be of interest to you in due course:

Other Options
In addition to these programmes, you can study at a university in East Asia as a 'free mover' and apply for scholarships such as the PROMOS programme.
If you follow the Professional Track and choose to do an internship abroad, then you can also apply for funding and scholarships.

The Interdisciplinary Centre for East Asian Studies (IZO) is a vibrant academic centre that often invites guest lecturers/professors and IZO fellows to give lectures and hold workshops.In cooperation with other departments and faculties, it also organises conferences and other events with international participants. Some departments and lecturers also have teaching partnerships with universities in East Asia.
