The Guest Auditor status offers an opportunity for continued education in specific fields of interest. It allows you to attend university courses without requiring a university entrance qualification (Abitur), though each course must be approved by the instructor.
Deadlines: From April 1 to April 30 for the summer semester and from October 1 to October 31 for the winter semester.
Cost: The fees for guest auditors are determined by § 61 of the Hessian Higher Education Act in conjunction with the Guest Auditor Regulations of the J.W.G. University Frankfurt am Main of January 11, 2005. The fee is 25 euros per semester hour, with a minimum of 100 euros per semester. A maximum of 20 semester hours can be attended. Please transfer the amount to the university's account before applying and attach the receipt to the application.

Procedure: The form can be downloaded from this page. The completed and signed application, together with proof of payment of the guest auditor fees, can be submitted by mail to the Registrar's Office or by email as a PDF attachment to sli@uni-frankfurt.de. All courses must be listed on the application and approved by the instructor. Upon receipt of the guest auditor fee, the signed copy will be returned by mail or email. Upon receipt of the approved copy, the applicant is authorized to attend the listed courses.
OLAT: If access to OLAT is required for the courses, please send an email with a scan of the approved application to: lernsysteme@rz.uni-frankfurt.de. Access will be granted there.
Moodle: If access to is required for the courses, please send an email with a scan of the approved application to: moodle-support@studiumdigitale.uni-frankfurt.de. Access will be provided there.
