We hereby cordially invite you to the Graduation Ceremony 2025 of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Registration will be open from 01.04. to 09.05.
Two additional guests may be registered per graduate. If there are still places available after 09.05., we will let you know.
Photos: A photographer will take photos of the party, which will then be available for you to download after the party. There will be a photo box that you can use. These photos will also be available for you to download free of charge afterwards. We will send you the access data by e-mail after the event. By participating in the event, you agree that pictures will be taken of you during the festive event and made available to all other participants.
Certificate of congratilations: Please note that you will not receive your official certificate at the event, but only a non-official certificate of congratulations. You will still receive the official certificate from the Examination Office. You will receive the certificate of congratulations from the head of department and the heads of degree programs. We will call the graduates individually and separately by degree program.
Registration on site: On the evening of the ceremony, there will be a registration table for graduates only, where graduates must register. Guests of the graduates and other guests of the faculty do not have to register. If you do not register there, you will not be called later at the ceremony, as we will assume that you are not present. The registration table will be closed at 19:45.
Directions: We recommend using public transportation. Please note that we cannot issue entry permits to the campus.
General note: In order to make the event free of charge, we provide the entire service with student assistants from the Dean's Office only. We therefore ask for your understanding if things do not run perfectly. We will make every effort to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Dress code: There is no dress code for the event. We have been asked by some graduates whether there is a gown rental service or a doctoral hat rental service. Unfortunately, we cannot provide these. However, you are welcome to obtain these privately. Just come as you feel most comfortable.
