Further information:

As an applicant, you are invited to attend one of our information events (on-site/virtual) (volunteer mentors are also invited to attend). You will be informed about the content of the AWP, the entire application process and alternative educational pathways. The dates of the information events will be announced on our website before the start of each semester.

Please note that participation in one of these information events is mandatory for an application for the AWP!

Your application via Uni-Assist will only be reviewed after the respective application deadline has passed. It will therefore take a few weeks before you hear back from us. We ask for your patience during this phase of the application process.

If Uni-Assist requests additional documents from you, please submit them online to Uni-Assist as soon as possible.

Once the examination procedure has been completed, applicants who meet all the requirements will be invited to take a German placement test. This test serves exclusively to determine the applicant's German language skills at that time. If you are invited to the German placement test, you will be informed of the date and location of the test by email. All applicants who are not invited will receive a rejection at this time.

After evaluation of the German placement test, the final selection of new AWP participants is made by a selection committee.

Selected new participants will then be informed of their admission and invited to a welcome event.

Please note that unfortunately not all applicants can be accepted into the program.

Selection criteria for admission:
